On the start of my first day of school in Culinary Arts class, I had the pleasure to find out that cooking eggs is alot harder than it looks. Just when you think your a great cook, come to find out you really don't know much about it. Chef Tim O'Donnell, C.E.C. said, "the best thing to do is to forget everything you think you know about cooking." That's just what I'm going to do. Doing things the right way is alot harder than it seems. Something as simple as an egg is one of the hardest things I had to cook to have it be done right. There can be no burn marks or crispy edges, omelets should have no white showing. How many time have I gone out and got a badly cooked egg or omelet.
Looking forward to every class to improve on my cooking skills.
